Greg was a coal miner and an altar boy. Greg was lucky his childhood priest married the parish secretary. Greg has been to 50 states, about that many countries, Europe, Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Asia.  He's flown more than a couple million miles in the last 15 years, sailed over 40,000 nm in 3 Oceans and bicycled over 30,000 km in the same general time. 

Greg is single.  He got divorced in 2019. He has 3 children Kai (15), William (12) and Morgana (3).

Greg lived for 15 years with a cat named Carthage.  Carthage moved a lot with Greg and has gone to the great tuna factory in the sky.

Greg has many nicknames including; Woody, Burrhead, Monkey Man, Charlie, the Bar Whisperer, LRAD and The Great Hairy One. Greg's 13th great grandfather fell off the Mayflower. Greg's great granduncle missed most of the battles in the Revolution because he was always away at some inn (one of those things that make you go hmmmm). Greg prefers cowboy boots... "Mam, these boots are made in El Paso, Texas", champagne, port and cognac.

Greg went to Turkey and had his hair rearranged. Greg does better laundry than you. Greg likes blonde jokes. Greg has a thing for chicks in glasses.  Greg can appear very shallow and arrogant, he really isn't, he's just shallow.

Greg likes to read. Greg hasn’t owned a TV for since Bill Clinton was President. Greg is fairly restless, probably a gene he inherited from his paternal grandfather. Greg prefers rear wheel drive and cars with 4 doors. Greg was on TV once, he was protesting a protest and it got way out of hand... "Club a gay baby seal for Christ." Greg let an 11 year old cut off all his hair and a strawberry blonde shove an earring through his ear.  Greg has an intense focus that frightens many people. Greg has the best friends.

He was married to a very cool woman in 1993 in Pensacola and moved to South Carolina but that didn't work out.  He was married for the second time in the Fullerton Hotel in Singapore in January of 2007.  That worked out worse.

Greg won 6 of 9 beer pong finals he played at the Sig Ep House at the Colorado School of Mines.  His partners included Cederstrom (3), Netzel (2), Howe and 2 girls (names withheld to protect the innocence or guilt of the parties involved).  Two of the eight were after losing the first game.

In case you couldn't figure it out, Greg was born in Canada (smirk).  It was at 3:39am.

Greg has lots of cool cousins but his favorite is Doug Luccio.

Greg has a life project called Party Mother.  The preview page is up at www.partymother.com.  Julie, Simone and now David have been getting Greg moving on this.  More details by the end of the year (2030?).

Greg also got a patent issued August 16, 2005.  Patent # 6931125.  What's this patent thing all about anyway?

Greg has worked full time on 6 FPSO projects in Houston, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, New Zealand, the French Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Norway and Israel.  That's how he's spent most of his time since 2006.

Greg has partied on 5 continents (NA, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia), about 50 countries and 50 states.  He's looking forward to South America, and not sure how that will get included in next years parties.  He has a plate on the wall at the Flying Saucer and completed some beer event in Ice Cold Beer at Emerald Hill and he climbed Mt. Fuji with his sister Sheila in 2013.  And he went to Oktoberfest in 2014.
