Greg on Gitana
2012 was spent mostly in Korea, India and Norway. The year started with the family Texas. Then Greg went back to Korea. Greg also visited:
Norway, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam, The Netherlands and The Philippines.
In the States only Texas and Colorado.
Nige was working on a project in Stavanger so Greg got to see him several times there. Andrew Heiderscheit came to visit Greg in Korea in March. Mars B and Jack St. Malo were both in SHI this year so some very interesting projects. Greg climbed Daegeum San on Geoje in April and it was covered in azaleas.
Greg and Tad came to visit in April. They toured the shipyard, had a traditional Korean BBQ and then they all took the high speed ferry from Busan to Fukuoka where they toured the Asahi Brewery. The next day they took the high speed train to Hiroshima where they toured the Peace Garden and the Mazda factory. The next day they flew to Seoul.
In July Greg was in Stavanger and got taken to Flor & Fjaere, an island covered in flowers. Greg and King rented an apartment in Dalmaji Hill above Haeundae Beach so there were a number of trips there.
Greg made the annual party at the Morrison Inn so there are some good photos from Denver. There were a couple Typhoon scares in Geoje, so there were a number of Typhoon parties.
Greg met Michael Taylor for the inaugural F1 in Austin and saw Elton John for the 2nd time in Seoul in November. A lot of December was spent in Norway between Kongsberg and Oslo. Then back to the US for Christmas with the kids. Jim came up for a Medieval Times adventure with Jupiter and Tyler.
Greg is now a PR in Singapore so he has been there a number of times to clear that up.
